The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had en suite facilities. The breakfast was very good and the staff were helpful and hospitable. The hotel was also conveniently located near an excellent restaurant and within walking distance to a lovely garden where you could enjoy your morning coffee.
There was nothing I didn't like.

The hotel is located by a peaceful river, perfect for enjoying the sunshine in the morning with a cup of coffee. The beautiful garden provides a tranquil setting to relax and unwind. Guests can also take a short walk to a local pub, known for its delicious food, although we didn't have the opportunity to try it ourselves.
The hotel lacks certain amenities that would enhance the overall experience.

I had such a wonderful stay at this place. The location was absolutely stunning, with a beautiful garden that had a calming river at the back. It was so lovely to sit outside and watch the wildlife. The service provided by the staff was top-notch - they were friendly and attentive throughout my stay. The room amenities were also great, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I particularly enjoyed having an ironing facility and a sitting area in my room. The breakfast provided was delicious and there was even an outdoor dining area, which was a nice touch. The flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi were also much appreciated.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

Stayed for a city break and enjoyed the peaceful location in a beautiful garden by the river. the breakfast was excellent, with fresh ingredients and proper rustic bread. the room had its own private bathroom across the hallway, and the bed was very comfortable.
The shower was a bit small, and the bathroom could have been cleaner.

I recently stayed at a lovely B&B in a charming location near Sherborne Castle. The warm welcome from the owners, Kim and Barry, made me feel right at home. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and opened out to a beautiful garden with a peaceful river. The shower was one of the best I've experienced, with a generous flow of water and easy-to-use controls. The breakfast, cooked with local produce, was absolutely delicious. The attention to detail and excellent service from the hosts made this the perfect B&B experience. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the Sherborne/Yeovil area.

The breakfast was amazing, with plenty of options to choose from. The fact that the breakfast was made with all local produce and ingredients made it all the more special. Additionally, the location was perfect for exploring the town and all its attractions. It was easily accessible and conveniently located near everything we wanted to see and do.
The room could have used some improvements. Despite being comfortable, the furniture seemed a bit dated and worn out.
